Robert "Bob" Stacy Burrell

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Robert "Bob" Stacy Burrell on April 10, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on December 11, 1941 in Spartanburg, North Carolina, Bob's journey through this world was marked by love, dedication, and a steadfast commitment to those he held dear. Bob was raised by Luther Perry Burrell and Helen Stacy Burrell, He was predeceased by his cherished son, Robert Scott Burrell, a loss that deeply touched him but also strengthened the bonds with his surviving family. Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Brenda Lee Burrell, whose partnership and love were the cornerstones of his life. He is also survived by his daughter, Jennifer Davidenko, and his grandson, Robert Sloan Burrell. A graduate of Western Carolina College, Bob earned a bachelor's degree that launched him into a career with Welch-Allyn, where he worked diligently for 42 years selling medical equipment to hospitals all across the country. Prior to his career, Bob served in the US Reserves during the Vietnam war. Beyond his medical and military history, he spent much of his spare time collecting guns and repairing slot machines. Bob's personal characteristics were as distinctive as his towering stature. He was a tall, well-kept gentleman whose quiet demeanor belied the warmth of his smile, capable of warming any room. His presence was calming and he could be relied upon to appear at any appointment on time, every time. A service to honor and celebrate Bob's life will be held at Roswell United Methodist Church, located at 814 Mimosa Blvd, Roswell, GA 30075, where family, friends, and all who knew him are welcome to gather in remembrance. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate nursing staff at Wellstar Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain for their unwavering kindness and attentive care during Bob's final days. Their support provided comfort and solace during a time of great need. Bob's life was a testament to love, loyalty, and quiet strength. Though he has departed this earthly realm, his spirit and memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
