Bob was the beloved son of the late Earle Francis Brubeck and Clara R. Winburn, who instilled in him values of kindness and a love for storytelling, even if his stories often started in the middle. He was predeceased by his dear sisters, Paula St. Julian and Marion Coulter, who undoubtedly greeted him with open arms. A dedicated husband, Bob's love for his wife, Angela French Brubeck, was evident to all who knew him. He was a father not just by title, but by heart to his children, Christopher French, Courtney French, and Jessica Jobe. His legacy lives on in his five cherished grandchildren, who brought light and laughter into his life. Bob's educational journey took him through Columbia College, where he earned a BA in Human Services, followed by a Master's in Social Work from the University of Missouri. His passion for helping others was evident in every aspect of his life. Known for his affable nature, Bob had a unique way of connecting with people. He never met a stranger and was known for his spontaneous humor that caught everyone delightfully off guard. His ability to engage with anyone and everyone made him a cherished friend and confidant. The open road called to Bob, and he found solace and camaraderie in riding his Harley with his MC brothers. These moments of freedom were treasured, as were the bonds he formed through his love of biking.
