Robert Joseph Lewis

Robert "Bob" Lewis, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 9, 2026. Born on July 28, 1948, in Pittsburgh, PA, Bob lived a life rich in love, laughter, and kindness. Bob was the beloved son of Robert and Ardeth Lewis and the cherished brother of his late sister, Cookie. He is survived by his devoted wife, Maureen, with whom he shared 53 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they raised two exceptional children, Tori and Bobby, who were constant sources of pride and joy. Bob's legacy continues with his four adored grandchildren: Dakota, Ava, Ruby, and Eliza, who brought endless happiness to his life. He began his professional journey as an insurance adjuster, dedicating 20 years to the Cincinnati Insurance Company. Bob later transitioned to a fulfilling career in the security industry with Allied Barton, where his dedication and integrity left a lasting impression on his colleagues and clients alike. A man of deep faith, Bob was actively involved in his church communities for decades. He spent 30 years as a committed member of the Brooke Hills Free Methodist Church in West Virginia and 18 years at The Bible Chapel in McMurray, PA. Bob was a cherished participant in numerous men's groups and Bible studies, where his wisdom and warmth enriched the lives of many. Bob possessed a quick wit and a happy-go-lucky attitude that made him a joy to be around. His ability to find common ground with anyone he met was one of his many gifts, endearing him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Bob's love for sports was a lifelong passion, especially his unwavering support for Pittsburgh's black and gold teams. He also cherished the special bond he shared with his son through their mutual interest in sports card collecting, a hobby they enjoyed together for 36 years. Bob also cherished many opportunities to travel the world and chaperone his daughter, Tori, through all her model adventures. A celebration of Bob's life will take place on October 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM at The Bible Chapel, located at 300 Gallery Drive, McMurray, PA 15317. Bob Lewis leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and faith. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who take comfort in knowing that he is now reunited with his parents and sister. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
