Roberson “Jeff” Moorer

May 20, 1961 — April 9, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Roberson "Jeff" Moorer, who peacefully transitioned on April 9, 2026, at the Heart to Heart Hospice Center. Jeff's journey began on May 20, 1961, in Odessa, Texas, where he was born to Robinson Moorer and Annie Mae Busby, who have both preceded him in death. Jeff was a beacon of love and laughter, known for his infectious spirit and the joy he brought to those around him. A proud graduate of Ector High School in 1979, he went on to serve his country with distinction in the United States Army from 1982 to 1992. His dedication and commitment to service were evident in every aspect of his life. Following his military service, Jeff pursued a career as a truck driver, working with both Mayflower and Waste Management Services. His work ethic and reliability were admired and respected by colleagues and friends alike. Jeff was a devoted family man, survived by his beloved wife, Frances Moorer, and their children: Jamille (Brandon) Hall, Daniel Walker, Justin Hatton, Tamicka Walker, Tyisha (Jimmy) Jones, Jeffery Moorer, and Jabari Moorer. His legacy extends to his cherished grandchildren: Tyler Moorer, Aaliyah Hall, Alicia Jones, Damarion Walker, Shanice Walker, Tiana Walker, Danielle Walker, Roman Walker, Dayja Walker, Davion Wilson, Justin Hatton Jr., Jaida Hatton, Tamia Williams, Teresa Williams, Talaijah Waldon, Jakobi Jones, and Addiyson Jones. Jeff is also survived by his siblings Nicky Moore, Cynthia Moorer, Latrease Moorer, and Pete Moorer, as well as his close aunt, Earnestine Jackson, along with many more aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Known for his warm heart and vibrant personality, Jeff was often the life of the party. His love for the Dallas Cowboys was rivaled only by his skill at dominoes, where he was a formidable opponent and a gracious winner. His laughter was a constant presence, brightening the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. A memorial service to celebrate Jeff's extraordinary life will be held on April 24, 2026, at 11:30 AM at Paradise Funeral Home, located at 3910 S. Lancaster Rd., Dallas, TX 75216. The family extends their deepest gratitude to Paradise Funeral Home for their compassionate services and to all the friends and family for their unwavering support and prayers during this time. Though Jeff is no longer with us, his spirit and love will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those he touched. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will endure forever. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to be made in Jeff's honor to a charity of your choice, as a tribute to his generous and giving nature.
