With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Robbye Jent Shepard, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world peacefully on June 19, 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family in her Cordova, Alabama home. Born on April 4, 1937, in Jasper, AL., Robbye lived a life filled with love, devotion, and service to others. Robbye was a daughter to Pat and Kathlyn Jent and was blessed with a large and loving family. She was predeceased by her husband, Delroy, her beloved son, Roger Bullocks, and her brothers, Sam Jent and Ronald Jent. Her legacy of warmth and kindness continues to thrive through her surviving family: her loving son, Tim Bullocks (Julie); her caring sister, Patsy Couch; her brothers, Don Jent and Tommy (Boker) Jent (Nancy), and her cherished daughter-in-law, Pam Bullocks (Hollis). A proud and doting grandmother, Robbye was blessed with six grandchildren, Marcus Bullocks (Melanie); Ashley Stohrer (Tim); Emery Griffin (Matthew); Chris Webster (Melissa); Traci Webster and Brett Britt and ten great-grandchildren, and a host of special nieces and nephews, all of whom brought immense joy to her life and whom she adored deeply. Her family was the centerpiece of her world, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments and happiness. Robbye dedicated many years of her life to serving the community of Harris County, Texas, through her work, where she was known for her diligence, compassion, and unwavering commitment. Her kindness extended beyond her professional life, as she touched the lives of countless individuals with her generous spirit and selfless nature. A service to honor and celebrate Robbye's life will be held on June 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Mt Philadelphia Baptist Church, located at 1885 Cordova-Gorgas Rd, Cordova, AL 35550. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Mt Philadelphia Baptist Church, a place close to Robbye’s heart. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated Hospice Team and personal caregivers who provided Robbye with exceptional care and companionship. Robbye cherished each of them and held their kindness in the highest regard. Robbye had a beautiful and gentle nature that instantly put people at ease. Being in her presence felt like a warm hug- comforting, welcoming and full of love. Her kindness, patience, and caring spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was one of a kind-wonderfully special. As we say goodbye to Robbye, we celebrate a life well-lived and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of those who were privileged to know her. Her gentle spirit and unwavering love will continue to inspire and guide us. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love and gratitude.
