It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Roaxanne Canniff, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. Born in Coldwater, Michigan, on September 14, 1961, Roaxanne peacefully departed this world in her sleep at her home on April 2, 2026, at the age of 64. Roaxanne was the cherished daughter of Quanna Topping and John Wilson, who predeceased her, along with her brothers, Joel and Gary Topping. She was a devoted family woman who touched the lives of everyone she met with her warmth, kindness, and unyielding spirit of love. A proud alumna of Union City High School, Roaxanne spent her life surrounded by the simplicity and beauty of rural Michigan. Her days were filled with crafting, a passion that brought her joy and connected her with friends and family. Through her creative endeavors, she created beautiful works of art that will be treasured by her loved ones for generations to come. Her greatest joy in life was her family. Roaxanne is survived by her two children, Anthony Cheatham and Justin Canniff, who were the lights of her life. Her legacy continues through her ten grandchildren, each a testament to her love and dedication to family. Roaxanne's home was always open, filled with laughter, crafting supplies, and the aroma of home-cooked meals. Her presence was a constant source of comfort and guidance, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her. Roaxanne's life will be celebrated on April 18, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the family farm, located at 663 Dunks Road, Union City. This gathering will be a reflection of the warmth and love that Roaxanne shared so freely, set against the backdrop of the place she called home. Friends and family are invited to join in remembering a life beautifully lived, to share stories, reminisce, and find comfort in one another's company. As we say goodbye to our dear Roaxanne, we take solace in knowing she is reunited with her parents and brothers, watching over us with a smile. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched, a testament to a life of love, creativity, and unwavering devotion to family. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Roaxanne's name to a charity of your choice, celebrating her generous spirit and love for her community.
