RJ Mitte, a beloved member of the Canastota community, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2026, at the age of 34. Born on July 14, 1992, in Canastota, New York, RJ was a cherished friend, dedicated professional, and a proud member of the US Army. RJ dedicated his career to serving others at All Faith Funeral Home. His compassion and understanding provided comfort to countless families during their times of need. RJ's commitment to his work and his community was evident in everything he did, and he was a valued member of the All Faith Funeral Home team, where he also found a deep sense of belonging. RJ was a devoted family man, and his greatest joy came from his family. Though he leaves behind no immediate children, he was blessed with five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and resilience. RJ's family and friends were his greatest treasures, and he cherished every moment spent with them. A man of service, RJ proudly served his country in the US Army, where he developed a deep sense of duty and camaraderie. This commitment to serving others continued throughout his life, both professionally and personally. A memorial service to honor RJ's life will be held on October 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at All Faith Funeral Home, located at 317 S Peterboro St, Canastota, NY 13032. Friends, family, and community members are invited to gather and celebrate RJ's life, sharing stories and memories that highlight the incredible person he was.
