Rita May

Rita May (Jacobs) Snider passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter on Aug 30, 2026, after a brief illness. Rita was born on Apr 3, 1929, in Zanesville, OH and lived in Cuyahoga Falls, OH for almost 60 years. Rita was predeceased by her husband, Dave, and her oldest son, Mike. She leaves behind her children, Jeni (Jim), Blaine (Karen), Larry, and Jeff as well as her 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff of Reserve Hospice of Ashtabula for their care and support during Rita's final days. In accordance with her wishes, the family will hold a private burial at Mt. Peace cemetery in Akron, OH on Oct 10, 2026. While she may no longer be with us, Rita's spirit will forever remain a guiding light in the hearts of her those who loved her.
