July 3, 1940 — September 10, 2026

In loving memory of Rita, who graced this world with her warmth and generosity, we remember a life beautifully lived. Born on July 3, 1940, in Beverly, Massachusetts, Rita was the cherished daughter of Emile and Dora LeBlanc. Her life's journey, rich with love and compassion, came to a peaceful close on September 10, 2026, as she passed away due to dementia-related issues. Rita was a beacon of kindness, known for her open heart and the welcoming home she extended to anyone in need. Her door was always open, her table always set for one more, and her love never in short supply. These qualities endeared her to many, creating a tapestry of friendships and bonds that extended far beyond her immediate family. Her love of football would find her glued to her television on any given Sunday Rita's legacy lives on through her loving family: her daughter Terry Russo and her husband Anthony, son Paul Geary and his wife Kathy, daughter Tracey Cilluffo-Doble, and son Darrin Geary. She is also survived by her cherished brother Ronald LeBlanc and his wife Polly. Her six grandchildren—Joseph, Talia, Emily, Anthony Cilluffo and his wife Laura, Gina McKinney and her husband Xavier, Jennifer Hayes and her husband Dustin, and Michael Cilluffo and his wife Christine—were the light of her life. In addition, Rita was blessed with nine great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride. Though deeply saddened by her passing, her family takes comfort in the certainty that her spirit will live on in the lives she touched. Rita was predeceased by her beloved parents, Emile and Dora LeBlanc, whose values and warmth she carried forward throughout her life. In a special message, the family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Seacoast Nursing Home for the tender care and empathetic love they shared with Rita during her final days. Their dedication and kindness provided solace and comfort in ways words cannot fully express. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, honoring Rita's memory and supporting the ongoing fight against dementia. Services will be private. Rita's life was a testament to the power of love and kindness, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of compassion and her unwavering spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those she leaves behind.
