Ricky Ware

In loving memory of Ricky Dale Ware, who was born on September 17, 1969, in Redbay, Alabama, and departed this life on August 1, 2026. Ricky was a cherished son, brother, father, grandfather & friend whose gentle spirit and boundless energy touched the lives of everyone he met. From his early days growing up in Paden Ricky was known for his adventurous spirit and love of the outdoors. A graduate of Tishomingo High School, he carried the values of dedication and hard work into his chosen career in construction. For many years, Ricky contributed his skills and expertise to the field, leaving behind not just structures, but also a legacy of strength and perseverance. Ricky was the beloved son of the late Jimmy and Varada Ware and was preceded by his sister, Tammy Brown. His family roots were deep and strong, and he was proud to carry on the Ware legacy. In his leisure time, Ricky found joy in hunting, fishing, gardening and camping—pastimes that allowed him to connect with nature and create lasting memories with those he loved. As a devoted father and grandfather, Ricky's family was the centerpiece of his life. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion through his daughter Lindsey & James Nunley and two precious grandchildren, Jackson & Amelia (Millie) and his step son Stephen Moore who will forever cherish the memories of their time with him. His laughter, wisdom, and caring heart will be dearly missed, yet fondly remembered by all who knew him. Ricky was the brother of Donna Ware & Pam Roach. A celebration of Ricky’s life will take place on September 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Paden Community Center. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a life well-lived and a man deeply loved. During this difficult time, the family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the kindness and prayers received from friends and community members. They find comfort in knowing that Ricky’s memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Ricky’s memory to the charity of your choice.
