April 13, 1959 — April 3, 2026

Ricky Eugene Neidigh, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, peacefully passed away on April 3, 2026, just shy of his 67th birthday. Born on April 13, 1959, at Community General Hospital in Harrisburg, PA, Ricky was a cherished member of the Neidigh family and the Harrisburg community. Ricky's life was a testament to love and resilience. The son of Charles and Doris Jean (Ickes) Neidigh, he grew up surrounded by the warmth and support of a close-knit family. Despite the hardships of losing his brothers, Lonnie Neidigh and Randy Bloser, Ricky maintained a steadfast devotion to his family, always ready with a listening ear and a helping hand. With a heart as expansive as his smile, Ricky touched the lives of everyone he met. His kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and his laughter was infectious, capable of lighting up any room. Ricky had a remarkable ability to connect with people, and those who were fortunate enough to know him were enriched by his presence. Ricky's sister, Wilma Lee Worthington, was his lifelong confidante and partner in countless adventures. Their bond was unbreakable, a testament to the enduring power of family. Alongside Wilma, Ricky is survived by a host of nieces and nephews who were the light of his life. He was a guiding force in their lives, offering wisdom, humor, and unconditional love. Ricky's passions were as varied as they were vibrant. Whether he was tending to his garden, exploring the great outdoors, or sharing stories with friends and family, he lived his life with an infectious enthusiasm that inspired those around him. His legacy is one of compassion, joy, and an unwavering belief in the goodness of people. As we gather to celebrate Ricky's life, let us remember the lessons he taught us: to cherish our loved ones, to greet each day with gratitude, and to find joy in the simple moments. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to guide us, living on in the stories we share and the love we give. A memorial service to honor Ricky's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will come together to share memories and celebrate the life of a man who was truly cherished. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Ricky's memory by performing an act of kindness in his name, spreading the warmth and compassion that he so effortlessly shared with the world. Ricky Eugene Neidigh will forever be remembered in our hearts, his legacy a beacon of love, laughter, and light. May he rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
