Richard Terry Kuntz

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Terry Kuntz, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who left us peacefully on October 6, 2026. Born on June 13, 1935, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Richard was the cherished son of Terry and Helen Kuntz. Richard was a proud graduate of Whitehall High School, class of 1953. Known for his warm smile and welcoming nature, he had an incredible ability to make everyone feel at home. Throughout his life, Richard was a beacon of kindness and compassion, touching the hearts of many with his gentle spirit and unwavering positivity. Richard was a devoted husband to his late wife, Jean Kuntz, with whom he shared many beautiful years. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, leaving behind a legacy that continues to grow through their children and grandchildren. Richard is survived by his loving daughters, Debra Thomas and Colette VanPelt, grandfather to Travis and Casey VanPelt, and great-grandfather to Kayden White, Alex VanPelt, and Oliver VanPelt. Richard loved to travel, and his adventures took him to many corners of the world, where he gathered stories and friendships that enriched his life. As we celebrate Richard's life, we remember the warmth and love he brought into our lives. His legacy of kindness and his endless capacity for joy will continue to inspire all who knew him.
