Richard Snowden

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Snowden, who left us on October 29, 2026, at the age of 90. Born in the charming city of Cambridge, Massachusetts, on October 4, 1936, Richard was the beloved son of Daisy. He was preceded in death by his brother, Conrad Snowden, with whom he shared many cherished memories. Richard's life was a tapestry of dedication and love woven through his service in the Air Force, where he served his country with honor and pride. After his time in the military, he embarked on a journey of entrepreneurship, becoming self-employed at AAA Hose, Fittings and Accessories. Through his work, Richard not only provided for his family but also contributed to his community with integrity and diligence. His life was a testament to the power of love and family. He leaves behind his devoted spouse, Velena Snowden, and his cherished children: Tiffany and Franklin Banks, Dottie and Victor Wynn, Cynthia Snowden, Karen Snowden, and Fadena and Chaney. Richard was blessed with a large, loving family that includes 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to his life. A service to honor and celebrate Richard's life will be held on November 13, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. at Mission for Life, located at 2655 Cobb Parkway NW, Ste 105, Kennesaw, GA 30152. Family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by Richard are warmly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in memory of Richard Snowden, as a way to continue his legacy of helping others. Richard Snowden's life was a shining example of love, dedication, and service. He touched the hearts of many and leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished for generations. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
