Richard E. Senecal Jr

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard E. Senecal Jr., who departed this world peacefully on September 20, 2026, at New London surrounded by his family. Born on January 9, 1948, in the idyllic town of Henniker, New Hampshire, Richard's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and cherished memories. Richard was the beloved son of the late Richard Sr. and Mildred (Gallagher) Senecal. He grew up in a home filled with warmth, alongside his sister Patricia (Edwards) Kerol (Bruneau), and brother Robert Senecal, both Patricia and Robert predeceased him. Richard was a devoted husband to Denise (Carmichael). He leaves behind his cherished children: Kevin Senecal (Tami), Kelly Learn, Kristy Harris (Jim), and his stepdaughter Brenda Baldwin (George). His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Ellie Zygmunt, Joshua and Jacob Senecal, Justin and Jacob Learn, Kayla McMahon, Zachary and Ashley Harris, and his great-grandsons, Jack, Griffin, Callum, and one more expected to bring joy in March. Richard's life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family, a source of pride and joy for him. He found happiness in their achievements, and his gentle guidance and wisdom will forever be remembered. His family and friends will fondly recall his warmth, his laughter, and the countless moments of happiness shared. A service to honor Richard's life will be held on October 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The family invites all those who knew and loved Richard to join them in celebrating a life well-lived, where stories and memories will be shared in his honor. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Richard's generous spirit and his desire to help others. Rick will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
