Richard Noble, a cherished soul known for his quick wit and warm smile, peacefully departed this world on August 29, 2026, surrounded by family and loved ones. Born on February 12, 1939, in Athens, Alabama, Richard was a beacon of kindness and compassion whose legacy will live on in the hearts of many. Richard was the beloved son of Ike and Martha Noble. He was predeceased by his sisters Minnie and Helen Noble, his brother Jesse Noble, and his son Alphonse Malone. His absence leaves a profound void, but his memory will be cherished by his devoted spouse, Dorothy Noble, and his loving children, Tina Watkins, Cheryl Donaldson and her husband Lenny, Onree Noble, and Diedra Jones with her husband Isaac. Richard's family extended to his siblings Lewis, James, and Irene Noble. He was also a proud grandfather to eleven grandchildren and a great-grandfather to four great-grandchildren. Richard's heart was as generous as his laughter was infectious. A dedicated employee at GoodYear Tire Company in Decatur, Alabama, Richard was known for building enduring friendships and relationships during his career before his well-deserved retirement. His colleagues remember him not only for his unwavering work ethic but also for the joy and camaraderie he brought to the workplace. Always ready with a joke to lighten any mood, Richard possessed an extraordinary gift for making everyone feel welcomed and valued. His patience and generosity touched countless lives, and those who were fortunate to know him will forever treasure the warmth he brought into their lives. Richard's memory will also be cherished by his dear friend Frankie McQueen, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of extended family and friends who were all too precious to forget. A service to honor and celebrate the life of Richard Noble will be held on September 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at New Hopewell MB Church, located at 11479 Dogwood Flats Rd, Tanner, AL 35671. Family and friends are invited to gather in love and remembrance of a life beautifully lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Richard's memory to an organization or cause close to his heart, as a way to continue his legacy of generosity and love. Richard Noble's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the impact of a warm smile. Though he will be deeply missed, the love he shared and the joy he spread will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
