Richard L Ouellette

In loving memory of Richard L. Ouellette, a cherished husband, devoted father, beloved grandfather, who departed this world on October 15, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on June 15, 1940, in Lowell, Massachusetts, Richard was the son of the late George and Lida Ouellette. He is predeceased by his parents, his brothers George (Soap) and Paul (Butchie) Ouellette, and his sister , Claire McCarthy. Richard leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication through his surviving family: his loving wife, Doris J Ouellette, with whom he shared 61 wonderful years of marriage, his children Marc E Ouellette and his wife Athena, and Mireil L Ouellette, as well as his adored grandchildren, Serena, Michaela, and Mason. His sister, Florence Ahmed, also survives him. Richard was a proud veteran, he served his country with honor in the United States Air Force, embodying the values of bravery and commitment that he carried throughout his life. After his military service, Richard and Doris embarked on a journey of entrepreneurship, establishing The Daisy Shops, a flower shop with locations in West Medford and Winchester. Richard's love for life extended beyond his work; he was a passionate traveler, exploring the world with Doris by his side. Their adventures were filled with memories. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Richard's life and honor his memory at a service to be held at 9:30 a.m. on October 22, 2026, at Holy Family Parish, located at 30 Grafton St, Lowell, MA 01852.
