Richard Freeman, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at home on August 16, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on July 9, 1938, in Baltimore, to William and Ruth Freeman, who nurtured him with love and instilled in him the values that he would carry throughout his life. Richard's life was a testament to resilience and kindness. Known for his gentle spirit and unwavering strength, he touched the lives of everyone he met. He was a man of integrity, deeply committed to his family, and an inspiration to his children and grandchildren. His legacy is not only seen in the family he leaves behind but in the countless lives he impacted with his warmth and generosity. He is survived by his cherished children, Tricia Hage, Tina Ingram, and Kenneth Freeman, who will forever hold his memory in their hearts. Richard's devotion to his family extended to his grandchildren, Brandon Freeman, Cameron Freeman, and Austin Hage, who admired their grandfather's wisdom and guidance. He was also blessed with four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride into his life. Richard's life was celebrated privately by his family, as per his wishes. In honoring his memory, the family asks that donations be made to a cancer research organization of your choice, to continue the fight against the disease that affected Richard's life. While he may no longer walk among us, Richard's spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
