Richard was born on June 7, 1964, in San Antonio, Texas, to Anita Cabrera and Raymond Carrillo. He was a man of boundless kindness, wisdom, and humor who touched the lives of all those he encountered. Richard's life was a testament to resilience, love, and dedication. He was a devoted husband to Bridget Carrillo, with whom he shared a beautiful journey of 12 years, including 4 1/2 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and companionship. Their bond was a source of inspiration to all who knew them, a beacon of true partnership and shared dreams. A proud father and grandfather, Richard's legacy lives on through his children: Ricky Carrillo and his wife Victoria, Jeneva Sotello and her husband Vernon, Rosie Carrillo, Ryan Carrillo,. Step children Rene wife Maryanna, Justin wife Destiny, Anthony, & Genevieve, The joy of being a grandfather to 25 grandchildren was one of Richard's greatest blessings, and he cherished every moment spent with them, instilling values of love and integrity. Richard was predeceased by his beloved brother Roger Carrillo, brother Raymond Carrillo, and his son, Richard Carrillo Jr., whose memories he held dear. He is survived by his loving siblings, Ana Chavez, Ruben Carrillo, and Jesse Cabrera and his wife Cecilia, Nora, Patricia and Debbie who were not just family but his lifelong confidants and friends. Throughout his life, Richard was known for his unwavering support and generosity. He was a guiding light to his numerous nieces, nephews, always ready with words of wisdom or a helping hand. His infectious smile and warm heart created a welcoming.
