In Loving Memory

Richard Branham
November 5, 1989 — April 23, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Branham, who left this world on April 23, 2026, at the tender age of 36. Born on November 5, 1989, in the scenic town of Wise, Virginia, Richard was a beacon of warmth and kindness, whose life, though shorter than we wished, was filled with love, generosity, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of nature.
Richard was the beloved son of Linda Morgan and the late John Morgan. From a young age, he exhibited a profound love for the great outdoors and a passion for fishing, often spending his days by the water's edge, finding peace and solace in the gentle rhythm of nature. His love for the outdoors was matched only by his desire to help those around him. Richard had an innate ability to connect with people, offering his time and heart to anyone in need, embodying the true spirit of compassion and selflessness.
Family was the cornerstone of Richard's life. He is survived by his cherished mother, Linda Morgan, and his three devoted sisters, Lisa Morgan, Kayla Morgan, and Sandra Morgan, who will forever hold dear the memories of their brother, whose laughter and unwavering support were constants in their lives. Though Richard did not have children of his own, his legacy of kindness and care extended to the many lives he touched.
Richard was preceded in death by his father, John Morgan, his maternal grandmother, Emogine Malone, and his Uncle Joe Branham, with whom he shared a special bond. In their passing, Richard found strength and inspiration, carrying forward their love and wisdom in his daily life.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Richard will remember him for his infectious smile, his gentle spirit, and his ability to make everyone feel valued and heard. He lived his life with a grace and humility that left an indelible mark on all who crossed his path.
As we mourn the loss of Richard, we also celebrate the beautiful life he lived. Though heart complications took him from us too soon, the love he shared and the memories he created will remain in our hearts forever.
A memorial service to honor Richard's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to reminisce and celebrate the extraordinary person he was. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in Richard's memory, to continue his legacy of helping others.
Rest in peace, dear Richard. You were a cherished son, a loving brother, and a true friend. Your spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew and loved you.
