Richard was the cherished son of Aniyah Brown and Reggie Bailey, who preceded him in death, along with his brother, Travis Bailey, and numerous aunts and uncles. Despite these losses, Richard’s life was filled with the warmth and love of his surviving family: his devoted wife, Anita, and their four children, Nasir, Taylor, Brianna, and John. His legacy continues through his five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. Richard also leaves behind a large, loving extended family of cousins, nephews, and nieces.
For 25 years, Richard worked as a car salesman, a career in which he excelled due to his honest nature and genuine care for others. His colleagues and clients respected him for his integrity and dedication, and he was known for going above and beyond to ensure everyone's satisfaction.
Outside of work, Richard found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fisherman, relishing the tranquility of the water and the thrill of the catch. He enjoyed sharing meals and laughter with his family, finding true happiness in their company. Richard's love for his family was unwavering, and his home was always filled with warmth and laughter.

In accordance with Richard's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor his remarkable life.
