Richard was predeceased by his cherished wife, Margaret Smith, with whom he shared many beautiful years of marriage. He is survived by his devoted son, Simon Marku, and his daughter-in-law, Miliana, who brought him endless pride and happiness. Richard's legacy continues through his four adored grandchildren, Sergio, Martina, Tristian, and Marigona, who were the light of his life. His love and guidance will be deeply missed by each of them. Throughout his life, Richard was an avid bird watcher, finding peace and wonder in the sights and sounds of the natural world. His passion for model planes was well-known among his family and friends, and he spent countless hours perfecting his craft. Richard also had a deep love for travel, and vacationing was a favorite pastime that allowed him to explore new places and cultures, creating lasting memories along the way. Richard's warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit touched the lives of many. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued and loved, and his infectious smile and laughter will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. In accordance with Richard's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor his memory. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.
