March 10, 1953 — May 3, 2026
It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the peaceful passing of Ricardo R. Tuazon on May 3, 2026, at the age of 73. Born in Gapan, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, on March 10, 1953, Ricardo departed this world at a hospital, lovingly surrounded by his family, following a heart-related issue.
Ricardo was the beloved son of the late Rosalina Roque and Guillermo Tuazon, who instilled in him the values of kindness and generosity that he carried throughout his life. Preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Fernando Tuazon, Ricardo leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be cherished by all who knew him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Elizabeth Tuazon, whom he married on June 26, 1983, in Dinalupihan, Bataan, Philippines. Together, they shared 43 wonderful years, a union marked by unwavering love and companionship. Their journey together was blessed with two remarkable children: their son, Elicir Tuazon, and their daughter, Princess T. Lansang. Ricardo's family grew with the addition of his daughter-in-law, Vanessa G. Tuazon, and his son-in-law, Christopher Lansang, each of whom he welcomed with open arms and joy.
Ricardo was a proud and adoring grandfather to five grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He took immense joy in watching them grow, sharing with them his love for fishing, billiards, and playing cards. His infectious wit and warm smile were ever-present, always ready with a joke to lighten the mood and make those around him feel welcome and valued.
A man of many talents, Ricardo was known not only for his humor but also for his immense heart. His kindness and generosity touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on his community and beyond. Whether he was casting a fishing line, skillfully playing billiards, or enjoying a game of cards, Ricardo's presence was a beacon of joy and hospitality.
Ricardo is also survived by his loving siblings, Milagros T. Espinosa, Lourdes T. Balbin, and Bernardo Tuazon, each of whom he held dear throughout his life.
Family, friends, and all whose lives were enriched by Ricardo are invited to celebrate his extraordinary life on May 23, 2026, at 9:30 AM. The service will be held at Sterling and Smith Funeral Homes, located at 409 North K St., Tulare, CA 93274.
