Rhonda Jo Kendrick

In loving memory, we gather to celebrate the life of Rhonda, a cherished soul who touched the hearts of many. Born on November 23, 1953, in Hillsboro, Texas, Rhonda was the beloved daughter of Billy Jo Kendrick and Shirley Faye Adcock. Her journey on this earth concluded on August 2, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever be treasured by her family and friends. Rhonda's life was enriched by her devoted career as a Nursing Home Administrative Assistant in Palestine and Elkhart. Her dedication and work ethic were admired by all who had the pleasure of working alongside her. Beyond her professional achievements, Rhonda's personal life was a testament to her unwavering spirit and boundless love. A die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, Rhonda's enthusiasm for her team was unparalleled. Her passion and loyalty to the Cowboys were only rivaled by the profound love she held for her family. As a devoted and loving Nana, Rhonda made sure that her grandchildren knew they were loved "to the moon and back." Her laughter and warmth will continue to echo in the hearts of her loved ones. Rhonda is survived by her two sons, Bryan Tharp and his wife Jennifer, and Blake Tharp and his wife Marivel. Her legacy of love continues through her four grandchildren: Maddie Dillingham and her husband Hudson, Mckayla Tharp, Kinley Tharp, and Cateleya Tharp. She is also survived by her brother, W.C. Stevens Jr. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Debbie, and we find comfort in knowing they are joyfully reunited. A celebration of Rhonda's life will be held on August 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Rocky Mound Church, located at 102 County Road 100, Elkhart, TX 75839. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring Rhonda's memory and the remarkable life she lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Rhonda's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting her generous spirit and the love she shared with all who knew her. Rhonda's legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family and passions. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those she touched.
