It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of our beloved Rhonda Lynn (Poulter) Bowling, who left this world peacefully in her sleep on June 6, 2026. Born on July 24, 1968, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Rhonda's life was a testament to kindness, love, and unwavering dedication to those she cherished. Rhonda was the cherished daughter of Scott Poulter and Elizabeth (Betty) Scharschmidt, both of whom predeceased her, as did her beloved husband, Jerry Bowling, and her dear sister, Carrie Langwasser. Though their loss was profound, Rhonda's resilience and strength kept her family close and her spirit vibrant. Rhonda is survived by her loving children, Gino Romalotti, Jonah Bowling, and Paige Bowling, all residing in Rushville. Her children were the lights of her life, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to their happiness and well-being. Rhonda's legacy of love continues through her treasured grandsons, Carson and Braxton, who brought immense joy to her days. She is also survived by her devoted sisters, Jodi Poulter and her husband, Tony of Westport, IN, and Amy and her husband, Tim Gordon of Homer, IN. Rhonda's sisters were her lifelong confidantes and companions, sharing in the laughter and tears of life with an unbreakable bond. In her professional life, Rhonda was a valued member of the Kroger team in Rushville for the past four years. Her coworkers and customers alike were touched by her infectious laugh, beautiful smile, and genuine kindness. Rhonda had a gift for making everyone feel special and welcomed, qualities that endeared her to all who crossed her path. Rhonda's gentle soul and kind heart were the hallmarks of her character. She had an incredible ability to connect with people, drawing them in with her warmth and sincerity. Her kindness touched many lives, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her. Everyone who met Rhonda loved her, and her presence will be deeply missed. As we say farewell to Rhonda, we celebrate a life well-lived and a spirit that will continue to inspire us. Her enduring love and kindness will be remembered and cherished by all whose lives she touched. A memorial service will be held to honor Rhonda's life, with details to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Rhonda's memory, spreading the kindness and love that she so effortlessly shared with the world. Rest in peace, dear Rhonda. Your light will forever shine in our hearts.
