Her journey came to a gentle close on March 9, 2026, at the age of 52, due to a sudden heart attack. Adopted into a family that cherished her, Reynada was a beacon of light and love in the lives of those who knew her. Her parents provided her with a nurturing environment that inspired her lifelong passion for helping others. Though her biological ties remain a mystery, her heart was always open to those she considered family. Reynada's life was a tapestry of love and resilience, woven with the threads of cherished memories and enduring friendships. She was preceded in death by her beloved friends Laurren, Andrew, and Dominic, whose memories she held close, honoring them with her laughter and stories that she shared with those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love in her surviving companion and devoted partner, Michael Vasselgard. Together, they shared countless adventures and built a life filled with joy and mutual respect. Michael was not only her confidant but also the love of her life, and their bond was a testament to the power of love and companionship. Reynada's life will be celebrated on March 13, 2026, at 12:00 PM, at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, located at 701 Jackson St. The service will be a gathering of hearts where family and friends will come together to honor her life, reminiscing about her warmth, her kindness, and the love she showered upon those around her.
