In Loving Memory

Rex Alan Christian
June 27, 1958 — June 14, 2026
It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Rex Alan Christian, who departed this world on June 14, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on June 27, 1958, in the sunlit city of Phoenix, Arizona, Rex graced this earth with a spirit as warm and inviting as his birthplace. He left us peacefully at home, surrounded by the love and comfort of his cherished family.
Rex was the beloved son of Ronald and Shirley Christian, who, along with his dear brothers Ronald Jr., William, and Jimmy Lee, have predeceased him. He now joins them in eternal rest, along with his son-in-law, Rolly Collier.
A devoted husband, Rex shared 31 beautiful years of marriage with his wife, Kimberly, whom he wed on May 23, 1998. Their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Together, they built a life rich with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Rex's legacy lives on through his surviving family: his children, Rex Jr. (Rachel), Sharon Dashkovitz, Cassandra (Jason) Bushue, and Thomas (Stephanie) Hine, who were the pride and joy of his life. He was also blessed with six grandchildren, who will forever carry forward his spirit of kindness and generosity. His brother Dennis (Colleen) Christian and sister Ruth (Charles) Tait remain to cherish the memories of their beloved brother.
In his professional life, Rex was a man of many talents. He worked diligently as a truck driver, contractor, and heavy machine operator until his well-deserved retirement in 2021. His work was not just a means to an end but a reflection of his dedication and strong work ethic.
Beyond his career, Rex was a man of varied interests and passions. He had a zest for life that was evident in everything he did. Whether it was the freedom he found riding his Harley, the joy he experienced playing the guitar, or the simple pleasure of spending time with his family and grandchildren, Rex embraced life with open arms and an open heart.
Known for his big heart and welcoming nature, Rex never met a stranger—only friends he hadn't made yet. His love for his family was the cornerstone of his life, and his home was always a place of warmth and hospitality.
Rex Alan Christian was a man who lived fully, loved deeply, and left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, we celebrate a life well-lived and a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
A private family service will be held to honor Rex's life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Rex's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting his spirit of generosity and kindness.
Rex, though you have left this world, your spirit remains in the laughter of your grandchildren, the stories shared among friends, and the love that binds your family. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
