It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Renee Hargrave, a cherished mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother, who left this world peacefully at her home on August 25, 2026, after a courageous battle with aphasia. Renee was born on February 18, 1963, to Dennery Hargrave and Joyce Morgan. Her early years were spent under the loving guidance of her parents and grandmother who she loved dearly, and she carried their lessons with her throughout her life. Predeceased by her beloved mother, Joyce Morgan, Renee is survived by her father, Dennery Hargrave, who remained a constant source of strength and love. Renee's life was enriched by her close-knit family, which included her siblings Paula, Fallon, and Shay, who shared countless memories and moments of laughter and support. She was a dedicated and loving mother to her daughters Amanda (Blaine) and Ashley (Danna). Renee's legacy lives on in her cherished grandchildren, Savannah, Michael, Scarlett, and Oliver, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. A proud alumna of Kaplan High School, where she graduated in 1981, Renee went on to further her education at the University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL). Her career path led her to become a certified CPA, and she served with dedication and integrity at the IRS for many years. Her professional life was marked by a commitment to excellence and a reputation for fairness and diligence. Beyond her professional achievements, Renee possessed a profound love for nature. She found peace and joy in gardening, spending her free time nurturing her plants and basking in the beauty of the outdoors. Her adventurous spirit was further fulfilled by her love of travel, discovering new places, and embracing the diversity of the world around her. Renee's family extends their deepest gratitude to the compassionate caretakers and hospice workers who provided unwavering support and care during her final journey. Their kindness and dedication brought comfort and solace to Renee and her family during these difficult times. Renee Hargrave will be dearly missed, but her vibrant spirit, love for life, and the warmth of her smile will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
