Renee Asbridge
June 12, 1963 — July 16, 2026
Renee Asbridge, born on June 12, 1963, passed away peacefully at home on July 16, 2026, after a brave and enduring six-year battle with cancer. Throughout her life, Renee was a beacon of strength, love, and laughter, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Renee was the beloved daughter of the late Kenneth and Dayle Karczewski, and sister to the late Karla Knight. She leaves behind her cherished husband, Robert 'Limo Bob' Asbridge, with whom she shared a loving marriage since April 9, 1993. Together, they built a beautiful, blended family that grew with the addition of one more child, creating a legacy of love that will continue to flourish.
Renee was the devoted mother to Justin (Jessica) Asbridge, Kyle Kraatz, Lauren (Russ) Richardson, Korey (Mackenzie) Kraatz, and Toree (Timothy) Wagner. Her nurturing spirit extended to her nine grandchildren, Theodore, Adelaide, and Everett Asbridge; Violet, George, Daphne, and Dahlia Richardson; Charlotte Baker; and Keaton Wagner. They will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Among her dearest friends, considered family, are Tony and Jamie Pampalone, Susie Osburn, and Barb Meier. Their bond was a testament to Renee's unwavering loyalty and vibrant personality.
Renee's life was filled with simple joys and passions. She had a remarkable green thumb, transforming her yard into a vibrant tapestry of flowers. Summers were spent at her camper on the river, where she found solace with a book in hand, relaxing on her deck. Her love for "dilly dallying" was well-known, as was her fondness for Friday nights at Mi Ranchito, where the clinking of margarita glasses and laughter with friends was a cherished ritual.
A breath of fresh air, Renee was a fiercely loyal friend, wife, and mother. She was always there to listen, offering advice only when requested, making her presence a source of comfort and wisdom. Therapy for Renee was as simple as cruising in her BMW with the top down and the music turned up loud, embracing the freedom of the open road.
In her courageous battle with cancer, Renee reminded everyone, "I have cancer, I am not cancer." Her resilience and positive spirit were a testament to her character, inspiring all who knew her.
A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Renee's life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Renee's memory to a charity of your choice.
Renee Asbridge will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her legacy of love, strength, and joy will continue to inspire all who knew her.
