In Loving Memory

Renee Adams
November 15, 1977 — November 29, 2022
With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Renee Adams, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world far too soon on November 29, 2022, at the age of 45. Renee passed away due to a pulmonary embolism at a hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born on November 15, 1977, in Jacksonville, Florida, Renee lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an indomitable spirit that touched all who had the honor of knowing her.
Renee was the cherished daughter of Linda Butler Walker and the late Robert Butler. She was a devoted partner to her husband, Paul David Adams, with whom she shared twenty beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a life rich in love and laughter, always cherishing the simple joys of each day.
She was the proud and loving mother of four extraordinary children: Austin, Brett, Sophie, and Lyndsey Adams. Her family was her greatest joy and her most treasured legacy. Renee's heart was filled with love for her daughter-in-law, Brooklyn Johnson, who married her son Brett, and her precious grandchildren, Isla and Evren Adams. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she found immense happiness in being their "Nana," a role she cherished deeply.
Renee's life was a brilliant tapestry woven with moments of joy, humor, and endless love. She had an infectious laugh and a remarkable ability to bring lightness to any situation, especially during times of seriousness. Renee never took life too seriously and found delight in the everyday moments—whether it was cuddling with her children in bed, sharing stories, or taking them on spontaneous shopping trips. She was a beacon of warmth and humor, a woman who embraced life wholeheartedly and taught those around her to do the same.
Renee's selflessness and strength were unmatched. She consistently put the needs of others before her own, offering unwavering support and compassion to everyone she encountered. Her kindness and generosity left an indelible mark on the hearts of her family and friends, a testament to a life well-lived.
A celebration of Renee's life will be held on April 15, 2026, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory, share stories, and find comfort in the love she leaves behind. Though she is no longer with us physically, her spirit will forever guide and inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Renee Adams will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy of love, laughter, and light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends. Rest in peace, dear Renee, knowing that you have left this world a better place through the love you gave and the lives you touched.
