It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rejene Maldonado, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world on May 18, 2026, at the age of 49. Born on December 7, 1976, in the quaint town of Longmont, Colorado, Rejene's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and resilience. Rejene was the beloved daughter of the late Irene Maldonado and stepdaughter to Rafael Madera. Her life was profoundly shaped by her family, including her predeceased grandfather, Eugenio Maldonado, whose wisdom and warmth she carried with her. Rejene's grandmother, Elena Maldonado, survives her, as do her siblings Andres Madera, Teddi Juarez, Nick Madera, Eugenio Madera, Victor Madera, and John Maldonado. Rejene was a devoted mother to her three daughters, Reyna, Talia, and Dheryn Maldonado, who were the light of her life. She poured her heart into raising them with love and strength, teaching them kindness and resilience. Her legacy continues through her adored grandchildren, Aviani, Mariano, Isabella, and Ava, who brought immense joy to her days. Education played a significant role in Rejene's life. She pursued studies in nursing, soldering, and car sales, showcasing her diverse talents and unyielding dedication to personal growth. These endeavors reflected her intelligent and resourceful nature, attributes that were evident in every aspect of her life. Rejene's hobbies were simple yet profound expressions of her love for life. She found joy in coloring, a pastime that allowed her to express her creativity and unwind. Her love for music was a constant companion, providing a soundtrack to her journey. Above all, her happiest moments were those spent with her daughters and grandchildren, creating memories that will be cherished forever. A true animal lover, Rejene had a special fondness for her two cats, who brought her comfort and companionship. Her generous spirit was as boundless as her love for animals; she was known for her kind heart and willingness to share whatever she had, even when she had little herself. Rejene's vibrant personality and sense of humor were infectious. She had a gift for making people laugh, often described as hilarious by those who knew her. Her laughter and light-heartedness were hallmarks of her character, traits that endeared her to many. In the words of her family, Rejene will be "Forever in our hearts. Your daughters loved you more than you can imagine. You will always be remembered and celebrated. God and Grandma Irene can now welcome you with open arms, and you will no longer be in pain. We love you, Mommy." Rejene Maldonado's life was a testament to the power of love and perseverance.
