Rehana departed this world peacefully on March 13, 2026, just days shy of her 86th birthday, surrounded by her family in her cherished hometown of Toronto, Canada.
Born on March 17, 1940, in Toronto, Rehana was the cherished daughter of Hoseinn and Zanjan Alli. Her life was a testament to love, resilience, and compassion, and she leaves behind a remarkable legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Rehana shared a beautiful and enduring marriage of 60 years with her devoted husband, Roshan Khan. Together, they built a loving family that was the center of Rehana's world. She was a nurturing mother to 19 sons, each of whom she adored, and a welcoming mother-in-law to 19 daughters-in-law, whom she embraced as her own. Her family was a testament to her life's greatest work, a legacy of love and unity that extends to her 53 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. For Rehana, family was everything, and she took immense pride in each member's achievements, never missing an opportunity to celebrate their joys or support them in times of need.
Rehana's life was a tapestry of warmth and generosity. Her home was a haven of kindness and hospitality, where friends and family gathered to share in laughter and love. Known for her vibrant spirit and gentle wisdom, Rehana touched the lives of many with her compassionate heart and unwavering faith. A service to honor and celebrate Rehana's remarkable life will be held on March 14, 2026, at 8:00 AM at the Toronto Mosque. Her family invites all who knew her to join them in remembering a life well-lived and a soul that brought light into the lives of so many.
