He shared an unbreakable bond with his sister, Gloria A. Ogburn, who remains to cherish his memory. Reginald completed his education through the District of Columbia Public School System. Fueled by a deep sense of patriotism, he embarked on a distinguished career in the United States Army, where he served his nation with bravery, honor, and unwavering dedication. Reginald's military service was marked by his integrity, leadership, and the respect of his fellow soldiers. Following his honorable discharge, Reginald transitioned to civilian life with the same commitment and diligence he displayed in the military. He became a Master Plumber, excelling in his craft and establishing a reputation for excellence and reliability. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to venture into selling fragrance oils and other merchandise, tirelessly working to provide for his family. Reginald was a man of faith, a steadfast member of his church community, and a passionate supporter of the Eagles football team. He was known for his quiet demeanor, a subtle sense of humor, and an unwavering devotion to his family. As a father, he was blessed with two cherished children, Raquel J. Burr and Reginald Ogburn Jr., who brought immense joy and pride to his life. He also leaves behind grandchildren who will continue to carry forward his legacy of love and strength. A funeral service to honor Reginald's life will be held on August 26, 2026, at J.B. Jenkins Funeral Home, located at 7474 Landover Road, Landover, MD 20785. Reginald's family has shared heartfelt messages that reflect the deep love and admiration they hold for him. His sister Gloria remembers a lifetime of shared memories and the comfort of his unwavering faith. His nieces cherish the lessons and joy he brought to their lives, especially during football seasons spent cheering for the Eagles.
