It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Reeshemah Cosby, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend, who left this world on August 29, 2026, at the age of 55. Born on February 4, 1971, in Newark, NJ, Reeshemah graced us with her presence, her love, and her indomitable spirit.
Reeshemah was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew her. Known for her radiant smile that could illuminate any room, she carried a warmth and generosity that touched everyone she met. She dedicated her life to service, working at the VA Hospital for over 30 years. A devoted family woman, Reeshemah is survived by her adoring mother, Mary Cosby, who was her steadfast companion and confidante.
