Reda Sanderson Fuller

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Reda Sanderson Fuller, a beloved matriarch, cherished friend, and devoted community member. Reda left this world on July 26, 2026, at the age of 83, surrounded by the enduring love of her family. Born on June 14, 1943, in the close-knit community of Cerulean, Kentucky, Reda was the beloved daughter of O.B. Sanderson and Narlon McCain Sanderson, both of whom predeceased her. She was one of the shining stars of the Sanderson family, alongside her brother Jerry Sanderson, who also preceded her in death. Reda's early years were marked by joy, camaraderie, and a strong sense of family, values she carried throughout her life. In 1960, Reda graduated from Trigg County High School, a testament to her dedication and determination. Soon after, she embarked on a career that saw her working as a skilled bookkeeper with Southern Printing, John Woodruff Construction, and finally at Kyler Bridge Co. Balancing her professional life with her responsibilities at home, Reda also contributed tirelessly to the family farm, a labor of love that reflected her passion for hard work and her affinity for the outdoors. In 1962, Reda married the love of her life, Jessie Fuller. Their nearly 63 years of marriage were a testament to their unwavering commitment to each other. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams until Jessie's passing on January 18, 2025. Reda was a longstanding member of the Cerulean Baptist Church, where her faith and devotion were well known. Her life was a testament to her beliefs, and she found great joy and solace in her community. Reda's life was rich with family. She is survived by her loving daughters, Tammy Thomas and Tina Fuller. Her brother Jimmy Sanderson and his wife Louise, sisters Stella Cornelius (Glenn), Pansy Stagner (James), Janie Stewart, and Sandra Milotte, sister-in-law Susan Sanderson, brothers-in-law Gene Milotte and Billy Young, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Reda's legacy is carried forward by three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one step-great-grandchild. In each of them, her spirit and love continue to flourish. Beyond her professional accomplishments and family life, Reda had a profound love for the outdoors. She was an avid gardener, nurturing a large vegetable garden each year and generously sharing its bounty with friends, family, and neighbors. Her love for the land was only matched by her love for reading, a pursuit that brought her endless joy and knowledge. Known affectionately as "Ree-Ree" to her grandchildren, Reda's warmth and nurturing spirit were a cornerstone of her family's life. Her legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will continue to inspire all who were privileged to know her. In honor of Reda's generous spirit, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, continuing her legacy of kindness and compassion.
