In loving memory of Reba Scott, who peacefully departed this world on May 3, 2026, surrounded by her beloved family and the warmth of their love. Reba was born on August 5, 1933, in the charming town of Albany, Georgia, to her cherished father, John Scott. Her life spanned an inspiring 92 years, during which she touched countless hearts with her kindness, grace, and enduring spirit. Reba's journey through life was marked by her unwavering strength and resilience, traits that shone brightly even in her final days as she bravely battled cancer. Throughout her remarkable life, Reba exemplified greatness in every sense of the word—a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, and a treasured grandmother. Reba was preceded in death by her dear husband, Gordon Scott, who was her partner and confidant through life's many adventures. Together, they built a loving home filled with laughter, compassion, and an abiding commitment to each other. Her brother, Leon Scott, who predeceased her, was always held close in her heart. She is survived by her beloved family, including her cherished children and her six adored grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Reba's legacy of love and kindness will endure in their hearts and minds, a testament to the incredible woman she was. Reba's life was one of service and dedication, both to her family and to her community. Her warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on all who knew her. As a devoted member of the Eureka Missionary Baptist Church, she found solace and strength in her faith, which guided her through life's challenges and triumphs. In accordance with Reba's wishes, a service to celebrate her life will be held on May 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Eureka Missionary Baptist Church, located at 3891 S Depot St, Leary, Tennessee. Friends and family are invited to gather in tribute to Reba's remarkable journey, to share memories, and to find comfort in the love she bestowed upon all who had the privilege of knowing her. In a special message from her family, Reba wished for everyone to remember that "she was love."
