In Loving Memory

Rayvin Rayray Simms
April 21, 2004 — May 15, 2026
In the stillness of a spring morning on May 15, 2026, the world lost a radiant light as Rayvin Rayray Simms departed this life. Born on April 21, 2004, in Baltimore, Maryland, Rayvin graced the world with her presence for 22 vibrant years. Though her time with us was brief, her impact was profound, and her spirit will forever echo in the hearts of those she touched.
Rayvin was the beloved daughter of Kimberly Holland and the late Romel Simms, who together instilled in her the values of honesty, courage, and love. Her father's passing, along with her brothers Romel and Shiane Simms and Uncle Riley Hawkins, preceded her own. Yet, Rayvin navigated life with an unwavering strength and resilience, characteristics that defined her essence.
A proud graduate of Digital Harbor High, Rayvin was known for her insatiable curiosity and a mind that never hesitated to ask the difficult questions. Her classmates and teachers remember her as a bright, unstoppable firecracker, a young woman unafraid to speak her mind and stand up for her beliefs. Her honesty, coupled with a full spirit, endeared her to all who knew her.
Rayvin's laughter was infectious, and her presence could light up any room. She had an innate ability to bring joy and laughter to every gathering, transforming the ordinary into something extraordinary. She was a stalwart friend, always standing up for the people she loved, even when the world made it easy not to.
Rayvin leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory forever: her siblings Shikim Simms, Keyarrea Hill, Christina Edwards, Melinie Simms, Shamel Simms, and Keith Hill Jr, along with her cherished nephew Rhamy Simms. Each of them carries a piece of Rayvin in their hearts, a testament to the love and joy she spread throughout her life.
A service to celebrate Rayvin's life will be held on May 26, 2026. It will be a gathering of family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched, to honor a young woman who lived fiercely and loved deeply. In this time of mourning, let us also celebrate the light she brought into our lives, and let her legacy of courage and compassion guide us forward.
Rayvin Rayray Simms, your spirit will forever be a beacon of light in our hearts. Rest in peace, knowing you were loved beyond measure.
