He leaves behind his devoted wife, Beatrice Barros, with whom he shared 25 beautiful years of marriage since their union on June 15, 2001. Together, they raised two wonderful children who were his pride and joy. Though he had no grandchildren, his legacy will live on through his family's cherished memories. A proud alumnus of Delaware State, Raymundo dedicated his life to serving others. His commitment to his country was evident during his time in the US military in the late 90s, where he served with honor and distinction. His sense of duty was matched only by his deep love for his family and his passion for life's simple joys. Raymundo was known for his quick smile and boundless generosity. He found immense joy in fishing, often spending his free time at the water's edge with his children, teaching them the patience and skill required for the perfect catch. These moments were a testament to his belief that life's greatest treasures are found in time spent with loved ones. The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Rhode Island Hospital for their unwavering generosity and compassionate care during Raymundo’s illness.
