Raymundo Lopez

In loving memory of Raymondo Lopez, who graced this world on June 11, 1959, in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, and has now found eternal peace in the comforting embrace of his Lord. Raymondo lived a life of faith, kindness, and warmth, embodying the spirit of a true servant of God, as beautifully expressed in Matthew 25:21. Raymondo was the cherished son of Jose and Maria Lopez, who, along with his siblings Ramon and Ida, have preceded him in death. He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 46 years, Mireya Lopez, who stood by his side through life's many seasons. Together, they nurtured a family that became his greatest pride and joy. Raymondo's legacy continues through his children—Mireya Lopez Saravia, Mimi Lopez Rojas, Kelly Lopez Carter, Ruby Lopez, and Raymondo Lopez—each a testament to his loving guidance. His nine grandchildren, Kaleb Munoz, Raylynn Lopez, Jocelyn Lopez, Roman Lopez, Miriam Espita, Madison Salazar, Madelyn Saravia, Alex Saravia, and Dakota Saravia, will forever cherish the memories of their beloved grandfather. His joy extended to his five great-grandchildren, whose lives were brightened by his presence. In his professional life, Raymondo dedicated 35 years as an electrician, retiring in 2023. He was admired for his leadership and mentorship, consistently guiding his coworkers with patience and wisdom. Beyond his career, Raymondo found joy in the simple pleasures of life. An avid fisherman and hunter, he relished the outdoors and took pride in his salsa garden. His love for music and dance was infectious, and he delighted in teaching others to dance as he did in the good old days. Raymondo will be fondly remembered for his storytelling and humor, which brought laughter and joy to many. His kindness and generosity were boundless, touching the lives of all who knew him. He leaves behind his siblings, Mauricia Cantu, Pedro Lopez, Gloria Santos, and Jose Lopez, who will forever hold his memory close. Raymondo will be cremated but two private remembrance services will be held at El Mesias, located at 825 Aransas Ave, San Antonio, Texas, on September 8, 2026, at 10:30 AM and September 11, 2026, at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Raymondo's honor. Raymondo Lopez's life was a testament to love, faith, and community. Though he has departed from this world, his spirit and the love he shared will continue to inspire and guide those who had the privilege of knowing him.
