Raymond Thomas Jackson September 13, 1955 - July 2, 2026 It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for his life that we announce the passing of Raymond Thomas Jackson on July 2, 2026, at the age of 70. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, on September 13, 1955, Raymond was a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was the beloved son of the late Elaine Marie Canada Jackson, and he is now reunited with his dear mother, maternal grandmother, and cherished aunts and uncles who predeceased him. Raymond was a proud alumnus of Ft. Knox High School, where he first began to cultivate his love for adventure and travel. Following his graduation, he answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Air Force. Raymond's sense of duty and love for the open road led him to a fulfilling career as a truck driver, a profession he embraced wholeheartedly for over 30 years. His tireless dedication and passion for the road were evident to all who knew him, and he shared many stories of the places he traveled and the people he met along the way. Although Raymond never had children of his own, he found immense joy and pride in his role as an uncle. He is survived by his loving sister, Deborha Chenault (Eddie), and he cherished his nieces and nephews as if they were his own children. Deana (Ivery) Simmons, Devon Amusan, Destinee, DK Triggs II (Breona), Neo, Jerrius, Jakeece Noble, Deandre (Jimnica), and Robbie were all blessed with his unwavering love and guidance. Raymond's legacy of laughter, love, and resilience will live on through them. Raymond's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the joy of simple pleasures. He had an infectious smile and a hearty laugh that could light up any room. His warmth and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. In honor of Raymond's memory, the family suggests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting his spirit of giving and kindness. As we bid farewell to Raymond, we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, free to explore the vast expanse of the heavens above. He will be deeply missed, yet forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest in peace, dear Raymond. Your journey continues in our hearts.
