Raymond Stubbings JR

Raymond Stubbings Jr., a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on August 3, 2026, after bravely battling stage 4 cancer. Born on December 19, 1955, in Lyons, New York, Ray was a beacon of strength, intelligence, and care throughout his life. Ray was the beloved son of Raymond Stubbings and Ruth Barr, who predeceased him, along with his brother, James Stubbings. Ray's legacy of love and resilience continues through his cherished surviving family members, including his devoted wife, Sherry, with whom he shared 50 wonderful years of marriage. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Ray's children, Michelle Witters, Raymond Stubbings III, and Bradley Stubbings, were his pride and joy. His love and guidance shaped their lives, and his spirit will continue to inspire them. Ray was also a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Raymond Stubbings IV, Trisha Stubbings, Kristopher Stubbings, Oliver Stubbings, Jacob Hundley, Höhn Witters, and Eli Stubbings. They were the light of his life, and he took immense joy in each of their accomplishments and adventures. An industrious man, Ray had a passion for working with his hands, whether tending to his garden or fine-tuning a race car. His love for nature and mechanical pursuits was matched by his generosity and willingness to help others. Friends and family remember Ray as a strong, caring, and intelligent man who always had a kind word or helping hand ready. Raymond Stubbings Jr. will be remembered as a man who loved deeply, worked tirelessly, and lived life with unmatched vigor and kindness. His legacy will continue to touch the hearts of those who knew him, and his memory will be cherished forever. As per Rays request there will not be a formal service but he wanted a celebration of life spent with loved ones at his home sharing memories and stories. Additionally his brother James has not been celebrated. Ray has asked that they be together as they are brothers together and always.
