March 12, 1943 — February 6, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raymond Henry, a man whose life was a testament to love, faith, and dedication. Born on March 12, 1943, in the warm embrace of Oklahoma, Raymond departed this earthly life on February 6, 2026, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by those who knew him. Raymond was born to the late Joseph Glen Henry and Ida Mae (Walker) Henry, and grew up surrounded by a large and loving family. He was predeceased by his siblings Darrel Henry, William (Bill) Henry, Eva Louise Summers, Betty Jean Davis, Donnie Henry, and Norman Henry. His parents-in-law, Harry and Bertha Miller, brother-in-law Ronnie Miller, and sisters-in-law Jane Reno and Ruth Miller also preceded him in death. Raymond now joins his beloved children Harvey, Sherry Lynn, Rickie Dale, and Shawna LaRae in eternal rest. On May 1, 1964, Raymond married Malinda Sue Miller, the love of his life and unwavering partner for over six decades. Together, they built a life rich with shared dreams, unwavering faith, and an enduring commitment to family. Their bond was a beacon of love and strength to all who knew them. Raymond's work was an extension of his generous spirit and strong work ethic. He spent much of his life laying carpet, a craft in which he took immense pride. He often reminisced about the homes he completed and generously donated his skills to churches, leaving behind tangible marks of his kindness. In addition to his career, Raymond found joy in driving trucks and spending serene moments fishing at the lake. Yet, it was in his garden where he found true delight, nurturing plants and sharing the bounty of his harvest with friends and family. Above all, Raymond cherished his grandchildren, Dylan Henry and Delani Wahome, who brought an immeasurable joy to his life. His eyes would light up with pride and affection at the mere mention of their names, a testament to the deep love he held for his family. Raymond is survived by his devoted wife, Malinda Sue, his sister Mary (Tom) Reid of West Plains, MO, and his extended family including brother-in-law Glen (Bonnie) Miller, Raymond Miller, Harold (Sharon) Miller, and sisters-in-law Wilma (David) Schwein, and Marilyn (Dan) Duncan, all of Peace Valley, MO. His legacy extends to numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were blessed by his kindness and warmth. A service to honor and celebrate Raymond's life will be held on April 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Victory Chapel in Peace Valley, Missouri. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Raymond are invited to gather in remembrance of a truly remarkable man. As we reflect on Raymond's journey, we are reminded of his unwavering faith, encapsulated in the words from 2 Timothy 4:7: "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." His life was a testament to these words, and his spirit will continue to inspire all who had the honor of knowing him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Raymond's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting his generous spirit and commitment to helping others.
