Raymond Harvey Stoll
December 21, 1937 — June 2, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Raymond Harvey Stoll, who left this world quietly in his sleep on June 2, 2026, at the age of 88. Raymond's journey began on December 21, 1937, in the small town of Forsyth, Montana, where he was born to his loving parents, Harvey and Gladys Stoll.
Raymond shared 67 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Lillian Buckalew, whom he wed on August 18, 1957, in Renton, Washington. Together, they built a family filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Raymond was a devoted father to his children, Forrest and Rhonda Stoll, Crystal Brammer, Twyla and David Del Pozzi. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Larisa Holman, Joseph Stoll, Myria Hoisington, and Zaky Brammer, as well as his great-grandchildren, Dyllin Hoisington, Caydin Hoisington, Julianna Hoisington, and Catcher Holman, and his precious great-great-granddaughter, Violet Hoisington.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Gladys Stoll, his brother Robert Stoll, his son Forrest Stoll, and his great-grandson Michael Hoisington. His memory will be cherished by his surviving siblings, Judy Redford and Linda Burgerson, who shared in the stories and adventures of their youth.
A master carpenter by trade, Raymond dedicated over 50 years to his craft, leaving behind a legacy of quality work and buildings that will stand for generations. His hands, worn yet gentle, were always ready to help others, reflecting his deep-seated kindness and generosity that touched many lives.
Outside of his work, Raymond found solace in the great outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, flying and rock hound, savoring the peace and beauty of nature. His gardens were a testament to his patience and the love he poured into every endeavor. Perhaps his greatest joy was passing down his knowledge, skills, and passions to his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, teaching them that they could accomplish anything they set their minds to.
Raymond's ability to inspire and nurture those around him was unparalleled, and his legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. If he did not achieve everything he put on his bucket list he came real close only to add more.
A celebration of Raymond's life will take place on June 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Stoneridge Resort, located at 150 Holiday Loop, Blanchard, ID. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor a remarkable man who left an indelible mark on the world.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Raymond's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting his spirit of kindness and giving. Raymond Harvey Stoll will forever be remembered for his generous heart, his unwavering dedication to his family, and the love that he freely shared. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of the life he so dearly loved.
