Raymond Fait

May 29, 1941 — March 30, 2026

In loving memory of Raymond Fait, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who peacefully passed away on March 30, 2026, while on a cherished vacation with his beloved wife in Knoxville, Tennessee, at the age of 84. Ray's journey began on May 29, 1941, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, where he was born to his parents, Sylvester and Irene Fait. He was the embodiment of warmth, dedication, and sincerity, traits that left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Ray was raised in a loving family, surrounded by his siblings Irene, Elaine, Richard, Robert, Ronald, and Bonnie, and he shared a special bond with each of them. He was predeceased by his parents and his dear sister, Carol Fruehbrodt, whose memories he cherished deeply. On July 10, 1971, Ray married the love of his life, Norma Jean Bangart, and together they embarked on a beautiful journey that spanned over five decades. Their marriage was a testament to unwavering love and partnership, and their union was blessed with three wonderful children: Brian, Mitch, and Becky. Ray took immense pride in his family, nurturing them with the same care and dedication he devoted to his beloved farm. For over 30 years, Ray and Norma Jean poured their hearts into their dairy farm, cultivating not just crops and livestock but also a legacy of hard work and perseverance. Ray's passion for farming went beyond the fields; it was a way of life that earned him respect and admiration throughout the community. His transition to crop farming and grain enterprise in later years was a testament to his adaptability and enduring commitment to the land he loved so dearly. His work ethic, dependability, kindness, and generosity were the cornerstones of Ray's character. Whether he was tending to his fields or lending a helping hand to a neighbor, Ray's actions spoke volumes about the man he was. He was a pillar of strength and a beacon of integrity, and his gentle spirit touched the lives of all who crossed his path. Ray's legacy lives on through his devoted wife, Norma Jean, his children Brian (Sharon), Mitch (Krista), and Becky (Aaron), and his cherished grandchildren, Sydney and Aaron, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. His siblings, Irene, Elaine, Richard, Robert, Ronald, and Bonnie (Bruce), also survive him, carrying forward the values he embodied. As we bid farewell to Ray, we celebrate a life well-lived and a man well-loved. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit will always remain in the fields he tended, the family he cherished, and the countless lives he touched with his kindness and generosity. Rest in peace, dear Ray, knowing that your legacy of love and dedication will continue to inspire us all.
