July 14, 1947 — April 13, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raymond F. Barsalou, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Raymond departed this world on April 13, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving behind a legacy of love and craftsmanship. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, whose partnership and love were the cornerstone of his life. Together, they built a family filled with love. Raymond was a proud and devoted father to his children: Garrett, Laura, Elyse, Renee, Todd, and Darren, who carry forward his values of hard work, integrity, and compassion. Born on August 19, 1947, in Richmond, Rhode Island, he spent over five decades of his life as a skilled carpenter, a craftsman whose work was not only seen but felt. The homes and structures he built stand as enduring testaments to his life's work. Beyond his professional life, Raymond was a man of varied interests. He was an avid bird watcher. His love for the simple beauty of birds in flight reflected his own gentle spirit and appreciation for nature. He loved woodworking, often losing himself in the rhythm of creation. His workshop was a sanctuary where the scent of fresh-cut wood mixed with the sound of his favorite New England Patriots games on the Television, a team he showed endless support. Raymond's legacy lives on through his nine grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense pride and joy. His sister, Anita, also survives him, cherishing the countless memories of their shared childhood and the bond that endured through the years. His A service to honor Raymond's life will be held on April 26th at 1:00, where family and friends will gather to share stories and celebrate his life. Rather than flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a local charity supporting bird conservation. Raymond F. Barsalou's spirit will forever remind us to cherish every moment and create with passion. Rest in peace, dear Raymond, knowing you are profoundly loved and fondly remembered.
