Raymond was the cherished eldest son of ten children of the late Ramon P. Martinez and Maria Elodia B. Martinez. He grew up in a lively household with his brothers and sisters , the late Encarnación John Martinez, David Martinez, and Sonny Martinez. Rose Maria Meza. Francisco Martinez, Ricardo Martinez, Noelia Tecalco, Sylvia Fernandez, and Elizabeth Martinez. The values instilled by his parents and the camaraderie shared with his brothers and sisters shaped Raymond into the compassionate and generous soul he was known to be. In November 1998, Raymond embarked on a new chapter of his life when he married Elsa, the love of his life. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and mutual respect, and together they created a home filled with laughter, understanding, and unwavering support for one another.
