In Loving Memory of Ray M. Harbert Ray M. Harbert was born to Eli Harbert and Percina Hamilton-Rollie on February 25, 1958, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. He passed away on September 21, 2026. Ray was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew him. Ray attended Gilcrease Middle School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and continued his studies in San Bernardino, California. He worked for many years as a contractor and ironworker, with his work taking him across the United States. In 2016, he joined Sure Steele, where he was a highly skilled and respected ironworker. His coworkers and friends admired his expertise, charisma, and sense of humor. Ray had a passion for fixing things, a skill he honed as a general contractor. He also loved to dance and listen to music, especially old school hits and R&B. His warm smile and infectious laughter could brighten anyone’s day. Ray is survived by his loving daughters, Stephanee and Daphanee Harbert of Dallas, TX; his brothers, Miachel Hamilton of Las Vegas, NV, Eli Harbert Jr. of Atlanta, GA, and Lamond Harbert of Tulsa, OK; his sister, Deborah Thomas of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews, friends of California and Utah, who will forever treasure his memory. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Eli Harbert and Percina Hamilton-Rollie; his stepmother, Myrtle Harbert; his sisters, Virginia Dionne Harbert and Sheila Hamilton; his brother, Marcus Harbert; and his niece, Vanyiel Johnson. Ray will be deeply missed by all who loved him. We love, you! Dad/ Uncle Mo!
