Born on September 1, 1950, in Springfield, Tennessee, Ray was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of many with his warm heart and generous spirit. Ray was the cherished son of Josephine and Arnold Hart, who predeceased him. He is survived by his devoted sons, Ray and Jackson and Spouse Carol Hart and Taylor and spouse Lisa Hart, as well as nine adoring grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life. His family was his greatest treasure, and he took every opportunity to spend time with them, sharing stories and laughter. A man of the land, Ray attended trade school for agriculture and dedicated his life to farming and truck driving. His work ethic was unparalleled, and his contributions to the community will be remembered for years to come. Beyond his professional endeavors, Ray was an avid outdoorsman who found peace and joy in fishing and hunting. He also cherished the quiet moments spent reading, always eager to learn and explore new worlds through books. A service celebrating Ray's life will be held on September 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Church of Christ, located at 136 Mayor Rd, Tompkinsville, Kentucky. Family, friends, and all whose lives he touched are invited to join in honoring his memory and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to Ray's heart. Your generosity will help continue the fight against childhood illnesses, a mission Ray ardently supported.
