With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ravin Prasad, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world peacefully on May 11, 2026, at the age of 65. Ravin was at home in the comforting embrace of his loved ones in his residence when he succumbed to a heart attack. Born on November 12, 1960, in the vibrant city of Suva, Fiji, Ravin was the cherished son of Sukh Nandan and Raj Pati Nandan. He carried with him the rich cultural heritage of his birthplace throughout his life, sharing stories and traditions with those he loved. Ravin's life was a testament to love, dedication, and kindness. For over 30 years, he shared an unbreakable bond with his devoted wife, Sani Prasad. Their love story was one of mutual respect and deep affection, a guiding light for their family and friends. Together, Ravin and Sani raised four remarkable children: Rex, Raveena, Shalina, and Saniel. Ravin was a pillar of strength and wisdom for his children, always encouraging them to pursue their dreams while remaining grounded in the values of humility and integrity. His nurturing spirit and unwavering support were a constant source of inspiration. Ravin's legacy extends to his six beloved grandchildren, who brought immense joy and delight into his life: Daya Kearney, Niko Prasad, Raja King, Kai Prasad, Riya King, and Quincy Prasad. He cherished his time with them, often found sharing stories, laughter, and gentle guidance. Ravin's eyes would light up with pride as he spoke of his grandchildren, each a testament to his enduring legacy. Throughout his life, Ravin was known for his generosity and compassion. He had an innate ability to make everyone he met feel valued and heard. His friends and community will remember him as a true gentleman, whose warmth and sincerity were unmatched. Ravin was a man of many talents and passions. He had a deep appreciation for the arts and music, often filling his home with the sounds of his favorite melodies. A private memorial service will be held for close family and friends to honor Ravin's life and share the stories that defined his remarkable journey.
