Born on March 12, 1964, in the charming city of Savannah, Georgia, Rasheen was the beloved son of Beverly and the late Eugene Washington. Rasheen's journey through life was marked by his dedication to family and his steadfast work ethic. As an electrician for 40 years, he illuminated not only homes and businesses but also the lives of everyone he encountered. His colleagues remember him as a hard worker, ever honest and kindhearted, traits that endeared him to all. He shared a loving marriage with Nancy Johnson for 23 years, during which they were blessed with two beautiful daughters. A devoted father, Rasheen is survived by his son Rasheen Washington, daughters Pamela Williams and Nicole Smith, and son Chris Washington. His love for his family was boundless, and he cherished every moment spent playing card games and fishing with his children. His legacy continues through his eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who will carry forward the lessons and love he imparted. Rasheen was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Washington, whose memory he cherished deeply. His surviving mother, Beverly, along with his family, will hold close the warmth of his spirit and the honesty that defined his character. A celebration of Rasheen's life will take place on September 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Central Missionary Baptist Church, located at 738 Hitch Drive. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance and gratitude for the impact he had on their lives. Serving as pallbearers will be Julian Washington, Chris Washington, Rasheen Washington, Damon Murray, and Michael Washington, with Julian, Chris, and Rasheen Washington as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests donations be made to a charity of your choice, honoring Rasheen's generous nature and his desire to make the world a better place.
