Rashaun Love Hobson, a beloved son, brother, and friend, was taken from this world far too soon on July 28, 2026. Born on June 26, 1992, in New York, NY, Rashaun brought immense joy to all who knew him. His infectious laughter and vibrant spirit left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. Rashaun spent his early years in the heart of Harlem, where he was deeply connected to his community. He graduated from Frederick Douglas Academy, a place where he first nurtured his love for fashion and basketball. Rashaun took this passion with him to Fordham University in the Bronx, NY, where he began his journey into fashion design, dreaming of one day making a mark in the fashion industry. Throughout his life, Rashaun wore many hats. He worked diligently as a cashier at Target and took on the role of a security officer at Academy Sports. In every position, Rashaun's warmth and humor shone through, endearing him to colleagues and customers alike. Known for his comedic flair, he had a unique ability to bring smiles to those around him, making even the darkest days a little brighter. Rashaun's life was tragically cut short, but his legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Ronald Hobson, who now welcomes him with open arms. Rashaun is survived by his devoted parents, Lisa Goodwin-Hobson and Ronald Hobson, and his loving brothers, Ridge Goodwin, Daquan Goodwin, Travis Goodwin, Tyquail Honson, and Harlem Hobson. They will carry forward his memory and continue to share his stories, ensuring that Rashaun’s spirit remains ever-present. A celebration of Rashaun's life will be held on August 21, 2026, at 6:30 PM at St. Peter's Baptist Church, located at 109 MLK Blvd, Dublin, GA 31021. Family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by Rashaun are invited to gather, remember, and honor the joy he brought into the world. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to a charity of choice, a gesture that reflects Rashaun's generous heart and his enduring compassion for others. Though Rashaun's journey was brief, his impact was profound. As we bid farewell to this remarkable young man, we hold dear the memories he created and the love he shared, forever cherishing the light he brought into our lives.
